I really liked the “Feminism keeps my Marriage Together.”
That should be required reading before marriage.
In fact, like the author, when I was first married, I wanted sex more often than my husband and thought something was wrong with me!
I also really liked this line.
“Intimacy just isn’t possible under patriarchy. You don’t see your partner or even yourself as a real person, but instead you see through the lens of gender expectations”

    Thanks for the links!

  2. Great new site. It’s fun seeing all your lovely pics along the side. Very nice.

Thanks for the link!! I always love your Oases lists.

  4. slwhitman says:

Boston was more like 3 to 1 when I was there… on the books. When you went to church and looked around, it was more like 10 to 1.

(Also, though it says there are more men in Seattle, it’s not really so for Mormon men, especially when you’re talking about the over-30 crowd.)
