Virtual Oases, May 27

Dr. Wendy Ulrich guest posts at T&S.

Picture of the week.

Laugh-out-loud post of the week.

Note to Tracy: My only memory of my mother spanking me is when I cut my own hair (age 5) because I was angry at her and though it would make her mad. Yeah. It did.

Part 1 of a woman’s spiritual journey and “bi-cultural” marriage.” I’m eager to read Pt. 2 . . .

Old testament and mythological archetypes — BiV, must be an awesome teacher!

A poignant post about choosing “in” or “out” – with its own virtual oases of links. (Note to G:  It *was* easier as someone without kids in primary.)

Halloween in May?: A slice of Zion.

btw… no disrespect intended with the comment about how easy it must have been without kids in primary. ;-)

None taken :) — and you are right. My sabbatical wasn’t “public”(I was even “between” wards), giving me a few months of truly quiet, personal reflection without seeming to make a public statement.
