worth a thousand words

In the past year or so, photography has become an important artistic medium for me. Through my photos I share a lot about my life and the way I “see things.” Many of my photos are of my garden and my family and the food I cook. Most are taken with the macro setting on my camera because I like seeing details.

To support my fondness for photography, I’ve created an Exponent II group on flickr.com (a photo sharing community). I’d love for each of you to join the group and post photos that reflect your unique view of the world.* Note: some of the photos from our group will be featured in future blogposts!

Please consider joining our group or just drop on by. 🙂

*For those of you who aren’t familiar with flickr, it’s free to sign up and post photos.

Cool! I want desperately to be a decent photographer but seem to be missing an essential gene. I’m looking forward to seeing what people’s perspectives are through their lenses.

Do join us even if you’re an amateur or feel you have ‘no talent.’ I’m looking forward to seeing pics of you and your life! 🙂

It’s fun to see some familiar names already on our little group. I’m with Idahospud, but I figure while my photos are not artistic, at least they offer snapshots of my life–I think those candid shots can be fun, too.
