Exponent II's Annual Retreat

Exponent II Retreat 2006
Sept. 8 – 10, 2006
The Sargent Center, Hancock, NH
Keynote Speaker: Dr. Sharon Swenson
Assistant Chair, Dept. of Theatre & Media Arts, BYU

Come join us for the Exponent II annual retreat for women. For more than 25 years Exponent II subscribers and supports have been sharing a weekend of fascinating workshops, interesting keynote speakers, and informative and provocative discussion on a range of topics. In addition to the more intellectual pursuits we share other talents as well at our Saturday night talent (or not) show. Sunday is devoted to issues of a more spiritual nature where two women are asked to share their spiritual autobiographies after which we have an old fashioned “Quaker Meeting” where anyone can share their thoughts with us, or just enjoy the serenity of the setting. Every Exponent II Retreat is designed to be a warm environment for open, honest sharing of life experience’s, issues, beliefs, and ideas.

We have relocated our Retreat this year to the hills and woods of New Hampshire. The Sargent Center is a facility owned and operated by Boston University. It covers 700 acres of beautiful forest with numerous paths and a lovely lake for early morning canoeing. Feel free to check out their website at www.bu.edu/outdoor The travel time from Boston is about 2.5 hours. Another option if you are flying in would be to come into the Manchester, NH airport which is only about an hour away.

Check our website (www.exponentii.org) soon for more information about Dr. Swenson and the other workshops and events for the weekend.
