My mother-in-law’s favorite season is fall, but this year she has had to watch the leaves change from her hospital room. Inspired by Jana’s photo-love, I took my camera on a treasure hunt on Saturday, looking for autumn joy to send to her. Here are a few of my favorites:

I love fall too. Now that I live in california I get a little bit depressed every fall because there is no fall here! Thanks especially for the milkweed seeds, I loved to play with them when I was a child, I remember stuffing tiny pillows with the silky bit.
