Virtual Oases XVI

LDS women in the news and on the web.

  • Don’t miss Shaulee’s Door — originally printed in Exponent II, but reposted by the author with pictures and a new afterword.
  • Kate Holbrook’s sacrament talk on the occasion of leaving Cambridge (her husband’s is also moving).

I really appreciate the virtual oasis. The links are always valuable to me. I was particularly interested in the question of Mormon mystics. That idea has been on my mind on lot in recent months. (I don’t think that Mormonism supports a mystical tradition, you have to go elsewhere for that, but that’s a comment for the other thread).

Shaulee’s Door was incredibly moving. I think I need to hurry up and subscribe to the mag!

Thanks for the encouragement! Nice to know people find these useful and/or diverting-in-a-good-way.
