Wear Denim To Show Support For Women

So I’m a little late here, but I think this is still worthy of a post. Today is Denim Day.

In Italy in 1999, a 45 year old driving instructor raped an 18 year old girl who was trying to get her license. She was wearing jeans. The Italian Supreme court overturned his conviction because they believed that when a person wears jeans, as the man accused claimed, they have to take off their own pants.

Today all over the world, women are wearing denim to show awareness of sexual assault and a belief that what one wears or how such clothing comes off does not imply consent.
